Comprehensive range of car servicing
We offer a choice of ways to service your car. Book your Interim or Full Service online today or select an Engine Oil and Filter Change if your service is not yet due. Book an MOT test at the same time and receive an additional saving over the standard individual product price.
An interim service of your vehicle. With an engine oil and filter change, and over 40 checks and adjustments. Suitable every 6,000 miles or 6 months.
A full and comprehensive service of your vehicle. Including replacement of your car’s major filters and over 50 checks and adjustments. Recommended every 12,000 miles or 12 months.
If your vehicle is still within it’s manufacturers warranty period, we are able to service it and keep the warranty valid. We have access to over 95% of the manufacturers service schedules. So we are able to carry out the same service using genuine parts and save you money. Please call us for a quote if your vehicle requires a service and is still under manufacturer’s warranty.
What is tested during a car service?
A service is a vehicle inspection that keeps your car in a reliable, safe and fully-functioning condition based on guidelines set out by the vehicle manufacturer. The service schedule will recommend specific checks and replacement parts including a car oil change at certain intervals. C&G Autos offers a range of car servicing packages to match your vehicle usage and all include an oil change and filter replacement as standard. What do I need to take with me?
Please bring along your vehicle log book so the technician can stamp this once the service is completed. This isn’t essential but a service stamp in your log book each time you have you car serviced can increase its resell value and shows potential buyers that the car has been well maintained. If booking a full service, please also bring your locking wheel nut key so that the technician can carry out a full wheel-off brake check.

How often should you service your car?
As a general rule of thumb it is recommended that your car receives a full service every 12,000 miles or every 12 months – whichever comes sooner.

We also provide manufacturer servicing for all major makes and models of vehicle using official manufacturer service schedules to determine when your next service is due and the type of service required.

Is an Engine Oil & Filter Change classed as a service?
While an Engine Oil & Filter Change is a key area of car maintenance it is not classed as a service as it does not include the full range of vehicle checks required to stamp your logbook or to reset your service light. The Engine Oil & Filter Change is a great way to ensure reliable performance and provide you with piece of mind if your service is not due yet. If your vehicle is due a service then you should opt for an interim or full service.
